The Quebec Historical Corps is a nonprofit organization whose goal is to promote a better understanding of our past. Our members enjoy learning about the way our ancestors lived, and about the important events they experienced. The Quebec Historical Corps is also the umbrella organization for four living history military re-enactment groups:

Captain James Rogers 6th Company of Rogers Rangers was a British colonial militia unit active during the Seven Years War (1755-1763)

The Béarn Regiment, Troupes de Terre de Nouvelle France, was a French regular army unit active in North America during the Seven Years War (1755-1763)

Captain Henry Ruiter Third Company of King’s Rangers, was a Loyalist militia unit operating in the New York and New England colonies during the American Revolutionary War (1775-1783)

The Voltigeurs, was a militia unit raised among French Canadian habitants and English settlers in Canada, to fight with the British during the War of 1812 (1812-1814)

60th Royal American Regiment, was raised in 1756. This was the first regiment authorised to include foreign officers in the British Army.

The Quebec Historical Corps is involved in many events at historical sites, providing demonstrations of 18th century military and civilian life. Corps members are also available to present and animate discussions about history in schools and for other non-profit organizations.
