Battle on Snowshoes 2007 Pictures

Good day,
Last Saturday, the 20th, we reenacted the 1757 Battle on Snowshoes (the lesser BoS) at Barbue Creek near Crown Point. It was a great day. For those of you who didn't get this info on the egroups:

First, I want to thank the organizers, hosts, and all participants for this year's Battle on Snowshoes. It was great fun being as close to the actual site as we were (or as close as we thought we could get), and we got so lucky with the weather as that was just about perfect in every way! I also want to thank those Brits who went French and I do hope you had a good day out in the snow to make up for your sacrifice -- I hope going French was better than staying at home! My sympathies to all of you who were planning to be there but couldn't make it.

Second, I've uploaded to a Yahoo photo album about 60 pictures from the weekend. With luck, this link will take you there.

Many of these photos were shot by Wade Stoner, so thank you to him for dying quickly as Lt. Kennedy (NOT Quintin this time, interestingly) and running around taking so many good pictures. A few are from Ed Radowitch, so thank you to him also.

YH&OS,
Sarah / Chauncey
