The book entitled, "THE ATTACK ON KIT-HAN-NE" by Larry A. Smail has been published and has been doing rather well in sales. The book includes many illustrations and photos. The chapters include: The early native migration to the Kittanning site; French and British involvement; the attack on Fort Granville, the war chiefs of the town; Blanket Hill skirmish and the actual Kit-Han-Ne attack by Lieutenant Colonel John Armstrong. Link of the Day: Neat site on being an 18thC British Soldier

Good day,

I was recently alerted this really interesting and amusing site about life as a British Soldier in the 18th century. It's easy reading, entertaining, and there is a lot more than meets the eye. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
